Horizon Commodities was founded in April 2013. Pengelly Farming, a 3rd generation farming enterprise and Aaron Jones, a commodity trader based on the Darling Downs saw an opportunity to create an Independent trading Company offering greater transparency and a grower-focused business.

Our aim is to deal with customers and growers where honesty and fairness builds a relationship of trust and mutual support. Our continued growth and reliable service has made us a key supplier to a range of different markets, delivering the best outcome for both our suppliers and customers.

Horizon Commodities are buyers and sellers of most grains including Wheat, Barley, Maize, Sorghum, Cotton seed, Chickpea, Mungbeans and Birdseeds for domestic and export markets.
